TATTOO FAQ

Do you take walk-ins?

No, we are an appointment based studio only.

What is your deposit policy

We require a minimum deposit of $100 to secure any appointment. Larger scale pieces will require a higher deposit amount. Deposits will come off of the final cost of your tattoo on the day of your appointment. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will come off the cost of your final session.

The deposit covers the time spent on communication, the creation of the design, and the reservation of the booking of the tattoo day.

We will require a deposit within 24 hours of choosing the date for your tattoo. Once we receive your deposit, the date(s) will be confirmed.

Deposits are completely non-refundable and non-transferable to others.

What is your rescheduling/cancellation policy

We require a minimum of 72 hours notice in case of rescheduling. Rescheduling without 72 hours notice will result in loss of the entire deposit to help cover the time spent designing and/or loss of income for the day.

Your 1st reschedule:

If you need to reschedule, your deposit may be transferred to a new date one time provided we are given adequate notice.

Your 2nd reschedule:

We will ask you to pay 100% of the balance of your (first) session up front before we book you a new date.

We will move your deposit with your appointment up to two times before it’s forfeited.

No-show:

We will consider it a no-show if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, and have not attempted to contact us before the beginning of your appointment. You will lose your tattoo day and your deposit.

What are your rates?

Our shop minimum is $165+hst.

We charge tattoos by the piece. The price quote varies based on the size, placement, and complexity of your tattoo.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

You must be 18 years of age or older to be tattooed.

How do I book an appointment?

To book an appointment you will have to fill in our tattoo request form. From there we will follow-up with a price, booking time, and/or request for additional information. If we are unable to do the tattoo, we will let you know.

How do I schedule a consultation?

Depending on your request, and before an appointment is booked or a deposit is required, we may contact you to book a consultation.

Usually consultations are reserved for larger, multiple sessions or complex custom pieces or cover-up work. For those wanting smaller tattoos, we will likely be able to book your tattoo appointment over email after we receive your request.

If you would still like to have a consultation prior to booking in, we can schedule an in-person meeting. During consultations you can discuss your design, expectations, or address any concerns or questions you may have about getting a tattoo.

Can I bring my family and friends?

As we are working from a private studio, the space isn’t designed to receive many people at once. To ensure the privacy, safety and comfort for both you and the artist, you are allowed to bring one extra person with you.

If you and a friend are looking to get tattoos together, we are able to accommodate groups of 2 people at a time.

Do you offer touch-ups?

We guarantee our work and will provide touch-ups free of charge within the first 3 months following the appointment given proper aftercare was followed by the client in accordance with our aftercare instruction guide.

We do not guarantee tattoos done on the neck, hands, wrists, feet, or flexion points as these areas are naturally prone to fading and rejection (especially hands and feet). Any touch-up requests for these areas will be at the expense of the client.

Do you offer scar cover-ups?

Yes! In fact, this is a bourgeoning area of interest and expertise for us and we appreciate your consideration of our services.

Please know that given the complicated nature of scarring, we can not guarantee the ability to cover up every scar. We will work with you to see what can be done.

Are there any types of tattoos you will not do?

We tend to avoid tattooing on parts of the body where the skin may not hold the ink well overtime (e.g. fingers, inner ear).
